Dozens of White Knight families, donned in the ugliest sweaters they could find, gathered at SouthPark to celebrate the holiday season together.
The annual White Knight Christmas Party took place on Monday, December 16, at Rooster’s Wood-fired Kitchen at SouthPark. In addition to fabulous food and drink, the attendees enjoyed spending time together outside of work and catching up with spouses and children alike.
In addition to food and family, WKEP employees showed off gifts they had made, baked, or bought at yard sales.
The upscale dining experience at Rooster’s is the vision of famed Charlotte chef Jim Noble, owner of several area restaurants featuring a wide array of cuisine. The Rooster’s menu focuses on farm-fresh vegetables and wood-fired meats, as the establishment’s name implies.
At White Knight, we live and work with a set of values that define who we are, to our customers and each other. We believe in the power of teamwork, and virtually everything we do at the company is collaborative in nature, whether it’s product innovation, making samples, quality control, or working to bring in new business. It’s especially rewarding at the end of a good year for our company to be able to relax together in a casual setting and enjoy the benefits of what we’ve accomplished together.
“The annual holiday party is just a great chance for us to see the purpose behind our people, their families and loved ones who make them special,” said WKEP CEO Scott Banks. “This is a special team comprised of unique individuals, and we prize the contributions of each and every one of them.”
“This party is just one of the things that makes us who we are at White Knight,” said Director of Human Resources Melinda Ebbs. “It’s always really great to see everyone’s spouses and even some kids join in the fun. We spend a lot of time with each other and accomplish some wonderful things together at the company, but it’s just good to see why we all do what we do.”
Merry Christmas and happy holidays from the White Knight family to yours.
